SUMMER SCIENCE CAMPS!

JOIN US THIS SUMMER!

We will be using Project Work to explore the world of bugs and geology. Project Work is a fantastic teaching model that

  • Discovers what the children know and what they want to learn

  • Uses multi-sensory and multi-leveled ways of finding answers to their questions

  • Teaches the scientific method

  • Integrates the subjects (i.e. math, reading, writing) into meaningful learning experiences

  • Encourages children to celebrate what they have learned

Camp activities will include local field trips (parents are welcome to come), guest speakers, experiments, as well as direct and exploratory instruction. All activities are hands-on and engaging.

At the end of our 2-week camps, we ill have a "culminating activity" where each child will teach their parents what they have learned.
